THIS. I have NEVER understood this argument. The reason I don’t do these things is because… they’re wrong. Not because some superbeing will catch me, but just because in my heart I know they are. It’s the difference between not stealing because you might get caught by the cops, and not stealing because you know the property actually belongs to someone else, and not you. To me, the latter is TRUE morality. -blueandbluer
